The Underground After Party

Collaborating with Guinness and Aston Villa, Underground Fan Club brought “Match Days Together - The Underground After Party” to Villa Park, creating a post-match experience to celebrate the community surrounding women’s football.
Hosted inside the Sports Illustrated Warehouse post match, The Underground After Party transformed the traditional match day into something fans could continue to be part of long after the final whistle.
The evening featured live appearances and conversation from some of the biggest names in women’s football, including Dion Dublin, Rachel Yankey, Carla Ward and Katie Shanahan, bringing fans closer to the voices shaping the women’s game today.
Music, live entertainment, immersive fan experiences and meet & greets, this event created a natural space where supporters could celebrate together and build new match day rituals around women’s football at Villa Park.
“It genuinely felt like women’s football was being celebrated properly. The atmosphere after the game was unreal and hearing from legends of the sport whilst being surrounded by so many passionate fans made it such a memorable experience. You could feel how much the women’s game is growing.”
