NEW BALANCE FAST SUPPER
NEW BALANCE | SPORTSSHOES
Sometimes the best way to prepare to race is to slow down first.
Ahead of the London Marathon, Underground Fan Club, New Balance and SportShoes.com wanted to create a moment that felt intentional, restorative and deeply connected to the running community. Together, we created The Fast Supper at the House of Sportsshoes; an intimate dinner experience designed to bring together phenomenal women that were embedded within London’s running culture.
Hosted by Underground Fan Club’s founder Charlie Copsey, 20 women came together for an evening centred around conversation, nourishment and grounded with community. In a space where marathon preparation often focuses on performance and pace, this experience was focused on the people behind the miles.
Guests shared stories, built new friendships and took a moment to pause before race weekend, all soundtracked by soulful selections from DJ Melody Kane. Founder, Rachel from Rawlala and in-house Nutritionist, Erica, delivered a delicious menu designed to nourish both body and mind, while Grace & Thorn created bespoke floral bouquets that transformed the space into something warm, personal and celebratory. Underground Fan Club made sure this evening had women contributing at every touch point.
Each guest left with thoughtfully curated swag bags featuring the latest New Balance 1080, but the real takeaway was the atmosphere itself. The Fast Supper proved that meaningful brand experiences don’t always need to be loud. Sometimes the most impactful moments happen around a dinner table.
“Wow, this event was so special. It brought me so much joy to see the level of representation of cultures all in one room. Thank you for creating a space where I felt genuinely seen and included. And absolutely loving my gifted New Balance trainers! Thank you.”
